The National Monuments Service's description
In Lough Gara, between the former shoreline and the present summer water mark and W of another possible crannog (SL047-042002-). It is evident as a slight elevation (8m N-S; 8m E-W), marked by short grass and possibly consisting of stones. Several other features in the immediate vicinity seem to be natural bog formations and blend with the old lake shoreline. (Cross 1953, fig. 1; Fredengren 2002, KILA 044)
