The National Monuments Service's description
In upland stony pasture, on a S-facing slope of the Curlew Mountains. A roughly circular area (15.8m N-S; 15m E-W) enclosed by a low ruinous stone wall (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.2m) from which much of the stone has been robbed. The interior slopes down to S. The cashel is overgrown with ferns and heather. A stone field boundary has been built along the E perimeter.
