The National Monuments Service's description

In upland pasture, located on a small terrace on the SE-facing slope of a ridge, overlooked immediately to NW by Kesh Corran. The ridge flanks the W side of a narrow pass, traversed now by a by-road. There is a settlement cluster (SL040-067001-) on the lower slopes of the parallel ridge, flanking the E side of the pass. Rising ground restricts views to NW−E, but the terrace has excellent views SE−SW over a broad sweep of undulating countryside, with a rath (SL040-069----) clearly visible on a hill top 335m to S. At W ground falls away from the edge of the terrace into a small valley.
This enclosure is not indicated on the OS 6-inch maps. The remains are scant and barely discernible at ground level. The indistinct outline of a circular area (diam. 18-20m) is defined by a slight undulating rise, stony underfoot, and in parts by a cropmark/differential grass growth. On the SW arc a low stony scarp (ext. H 0.3-0.4m) can be traced. The interior area is level and not noticeably raised. A telegraph pole stands on the NW edge of the enclosure. There is another enclosure (SL040-247----) 20m to SSE on a lower terrace on the same slope.
