The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a limestone plateau, within a field system (SL040-121001-). Listed in the SMR (1989) and the RMP (1995) as 'Hut site'. The source of this record is indicated as aerial photographs (GSIAP, G 218-7; CUCAP, AVI 67-68) (SMR (1989) file). A re-examination of the aerial photographs failed to detect any feature that could be interpreted as a hut site. An undated note on the SMR (1989) file records that this was cleared. The site was inspected in 2001 and no visible remains of a hut site were found.
