The National Monuments Service's description
Within the E side of the cairn of a passage tomb (SL040-097001-). Macalister, Armstrong and Praeger (1912, 322) described two short cists containing 'burnt bone-dust' which were found in a secondary position in the cairn. The northern cist measured '1 foot 7 inches [0.48m] by 8 inches [0.2m]' and was '1 foot [0.3m] high' while the southern cist was 'smaller and much dilapidated' (ibid.). There is a cashel (SL040-082001-) and field wall (SL040-082002-) c. 80m to W. (Waddell 1970, 129; Waddell 1990, 132)
