The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, c. 60m WSW of a souterrain (SL038-110004-) and within a field system (SL038-110005-). A subcircular area (c. 14m NW-SE; c. 13m NE-SW) enclosed by a collapsed sod-covered stone wall (Wth 1.8m; H 0.4m). There is a break (Wth 4m) in the wall at NW and another (Wth 3m) at ESE. The interior is slightly sunken. Immediately to W and NW is a vertical rock-face (max. H 2m) that forms the SE side of a ravine but to S and SE the ground slopes away gently.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
