The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a terrace overlooking the river Moy. The area is partially covered by scrub and there are no visible remains of the graveyard. It was indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as an oval area (c. 22m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE) and on the 1914 OS 6-inch map as an oval depression bounded by a NE-SW field boundary on the NW side.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
