The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise. A raised circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 2.3m) with an external fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.5m). According to local tradition, there is a possible souterrain (SL037-032002-) in the interior. The rath is covered with overgrowth.
