The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on the outskirts of Geevagh village, located in an area of lowlying, damp rush-grown pasture, overlooked to NE by a high ridge.
This possible enclosure is not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. It is evident in aerial imagery.
It is evident at ground level as a slightly raised subcircular flat-topped area or platform (21m E−W; 24m N−S) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.3-0.4m). The scarp has a hint of a raised internal rim at NW and E. There are poorly defined low areas or gaps in the scarp at W E and NE. A slight depression (Wth 1.6m) can be traced outside the scarp on the W arc. The remains are very low profile.
The nature of this possible enclosure is uncertain: According to local information, it was created in the mid 1990’s when earth was spread here to level up a hollow.
