Listed in both the SMR (1989) and RMP (1995) and classified as 'Enclosure' and 'Settlement Deserted' respectively. It is in wet elevated pasture, on a slight NE-facing slope with a sharp natural break of slope immediately to the N. A deserted settlement of six rectangular stone structures, all aligned NE-SW, is delimited to the W and N by a NE-SW earth and stone bank (H 1.1m) and on E side by a drain (D 0.4m). The smallest structure measures 3.2m x 3.8m while the largest measures 15.9m x 2.8m, the latter being divided into three rooms by crosswalls. Two of the structures have no obvious entrances, and two additional structures are c. 60m SW of the main complex. These structures are all shown on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map (1837) and are probably of 18th or 19th century date. This house (ext. dims 8.5m NE-SW; 4.5m NW-SE; int. dims 6.4m NE-SW; 2.8m NW-SE) is defined by a wall (T 1.05m; max. H 1.5m at NE) and has an entrance (Wth 0.7m) at NW.
