The National Monuments Service's description
In rocky pasture on a W-facing slope with a view across Lough Arrow to Kesh Corran and the Bricklieve Mountains. The E end of a gallery (min. L 3.5m; Wth 1.2m) is represented by an orthostat at the N end and two at the S. A prostrate stone at the S may be a fallen orthostat. Wood-Martin (1883-4, 462, no. 25; 1888, 186, no. 25) noted a further stone at the site. It stood just beyond the E end of the structure and, he claimed, had originally served as a roofstone before being removed to its new position by a tenant some 40 years before. The structure is at the SE end of an oval mound (13m E-W; 10m N-S). Two prostrate slabs lie at the N end of the mound. (Ó Nualláin 1989, 62, no. 101)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
