The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on top of a low rise on a slight SE-facing slope. Views are good to excellent in all directions. A roughly circular area (7.5m N-S; 8m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.75m; Wth 1.3m at top). Large limestone stones (diam. c. 0.4m) occur frequently in the bank material. The interior is level and flush with the external ground surface.
