The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope. This 'road' was listed in the SMR (1989) as 'Road'. It is marked on the OS 1st ed. 6-inch map as a 'road' or lane leading to a house. This road is levelled and not visible at ground level. There is no evidence to support that it is of any antiquity and it may be post-AD 1700 in date.
