The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a low rise. An oval area (20.7m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by a scarp (max. H 1.7m). The interior is dug into along the NE arc. There is a souterrain (SL032-010002-) in the S portion of the interior. The rath is indicated as an embanked oval area (int. diam. c. 25m N-S; c. 35m E-W) on the 1838 OS 6-inch map and as a hachured oval raised area on the 1914 OS 6-inch map.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
