In level wet pasture with ridges of higher ground to SE and SW; the surrounding area is cut by modern drains. A raised rectangular area (13.9m NE-SW; 15.7m NW-SE) enclosed by the remains of two earthen banks with intervening and outer fosses. Only slight traces of the inner bank are evident, along the NE side and at the S and W corners; elsewhere the interior is defined by a scarp (H 0.8m). The intervening fosse (Wth 1.6m) is marked by a dense growth of rushes. The outer bank (Wth 3.8m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.95m) is evident all round. The outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.3m) is evident along the NW, SW and SE sides but on the NW side it swings c. 10m wide of the outer bank. A low rise (Wth 4m) is evident on the external side of the outer fosse on the S half of the SW side. A circular enclosure (SL025-130----) lies c. 50m to W and a fulacht fia (SL025-165001-) c. 30m to SSW in the same field.
