The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a hill, just below the crest of the hill on its S side. Immediately to N, E and S of the enclosure, the slopes of the hill fall steeply into damp-based valleys; the level top of the ridge extends to W.
Not indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch mapping. The outline of a possible enclosure is visible in aerial imagery as a subcircular area (diam. 30-35m) defined on its perimeter at SW−N by a curving cropmark. It is bordered at E by a straight NW−SE field boundary/hedgerow and at S by a straight NE−SW feature/possibly a field drain. There is almost no visible trace at ground level. A slight curving scarp may correspond to the S arc of the possible enclosure; it is clipped at SE by a linear NE−SW field drain, now infilled and indicated by a dark line of dense rushes. Another area of slightly denser vegetation at W may indicate the SW−W arc of the possible enclosure. The N arc cannot be traced, and a NW−SE field fence, engulfed in a blackthorn and hawthorn, cuts across the E edge.
