The National Monuments Service's description

Listed in both the SMR (1989) and the RMP (1995) and classified 'Enclosure'. In pasture, on level ground on top of an E-W ridge two fields SW of 'Ardnisbrack House'. Depicted as an subrectangular tree-covered feature on the 1838 OS 6-inch map and as an oval enclosure with interior planted with trees on the 1913 OS 6-inch map. Upstanding remains comprise a crescent-shaped curve S-N, incorporated into a linear N-S field boundary (Wth 0.8m; H 0.8m). The enclosed semicircular area (30m N-S; 10m E-W) is flat, featureless and flush with the exterior ground level. This is likely to be a landscape feature of post-1700 AD date.
