The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the summit of a drumlin ridge in hummocky terrain with a deep valley to the NW. The site has panoramic views of the Dartry Mountains and the Ox Mountains. There are the remains of a souterrain at the S entrance to a ringfort (SL020-063001-). Comprises a sunken passage (L 6.70m, Wth 2.30m).
