The National Monuments Service's description

Located on the N end of a narrow flat-topped hillock in drumlin pasture, overlooking Ballysadare Bay. In the SW of a platform ringfort (SL020-045002-) is a souterrain. This takes the form of a three segmented zig-zag (L 12.20m by 6.50m). The souterrain extends under the bank of the ringfort and would have opened into the site of the fosse on the S side. It extends through the interior in the SW and NE direction.
