The National Monuments Service's description
Situated atop a steep S-facing slope in pasture. Not marked on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. The W enclosure comprises a slightly raised D-shaped area (dims. 22m E-W; 15.5m N-S) defined from NW-N-SW by a low, partially sod-covered heap of loose stones (Wth. 2.5m - 3m; int. H 0.1m - 0.2m). The straight side, from SW-W-NW, is formed by a N-S field boundary wall. Original entrance not recognisable. Adjoining the E part of this enclosure is a subrectangular raised area (dims. 19.6m N-S; 12m E-W) defined by a sod-covered wall (Wth. 2.2m; int. H 0.6m) which survives mainly as a scarp at S (H 1.15m). Inside the wall from N-NNE-NE is a low terrace (Wth. 1.4m; H 0.4m).
