The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low rise in level, wet pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 25m) defined by a scarp (Wth. 4.3m; H 1.5m). At the upper edge of the scarp at E is the remains of a low wall of loosely piled stones (Wth. c.3m; H 0.2m). No fosse. Original entrance not recognisable. A short distance SE of the centre of the interior, constructed on a slight rise, is a subrectangular or trapezoidal area (dims. 11.1m E-W; 5.8m N-S at W end; 3.4m N-S at E end) delimited by lines of small, low stones which may mark the remains of a house site (SL019-088003-). A souterrain (SL019-088002-) is visible in the WNW portion of the interior.
