The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at a bedrock outcrop, at the N verge of a modern roadway. A pool (max. dim. c. 4m), defined by modern concrete walls, has been created from the waters of a spring which originates from underneath the bedrock, and flows as a stream to NE. Immediately W of the holy well is monumental structure (SL019-006002-). There is a church (SL019-007001-) and graveyard (SL019-007002-) 80m to WSW.
