The National Monuments Service's description
Situated adjacent to the W bank of a small stream at the E edge of a tract of boggy pasture. Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Kidney-shaped mound (12.4m N-S; 9m E-W; max. H 0.9m) composed of shattered sandstone fragments within a matrix of black, charcoal-rich soil. The open area is at W.
