The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, situated on a level area beneath the top of a broad E-W ridge. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.7m) with an external fosse (Wth 3m; ext. D 1.1m), U-shaped in profile. At the outer lip of the fosse at S are ephemeral traces of a possible outer bank (Wth c. 2m; H 0.2m). A break (Wth. 6m) in the bank and fosse at WNW may mark the original entrance. Centrally located within the interior is a possible souterrain (SL018-039002-). The remainder of the internal ground level of the rath is uneven.
