The National Monuments Service's description

Locating in forestry-covered blanket bog, on the broad, flat top of a ridge flanked at W by the Easkey River valley and at E by the small valley of the Fiddaungarrode stream. This record was not listed in the SMR (1989). It refers to a ‘post row’ which was first noted in the early 1990’s and was listed in the RMP (1995) at IG 139960 327300 (equating to ITM 539924 827307). A field boundary (SL017-089001-) was also recorded at this location. The source of this record is unknown and there is no field report from the 1990’s on file. The area was inspected in 2014 but no trace of the field boundary was found. It is possible that the monument was incorrectly located at the time of the original inspection or it may have been damaged or destroyed during forestry works. It exact location remains unknown.
