The National Monuments Service's description

In an expanse of heather- and sedge-covered blanket bog, on a broad ridge top. The E slope of the ridge drops into a broad valley where the Gowlan River joins the Easkey River. This record refers to a post row which was noted in this area in the early 1990’s. It was listed in the RMP (1995) at IG 138480 326840 (equating to ITM 538445 826847): the source of this record is unknown and there is no field report from the 1990’s on file. The location as depicted on the 1913 OS 6-inch map is largely featureless and it is likely that the co-ordinates recorded in the RMP (1995) were approximate only. The area was inspected in 2014 but no trace of the post row was found. The exact location of the post row remains unknown.
