The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, locating on a N-S ridge. The E side of the ridge drops into the Easkey River valley; the W slope falls into the small valley of the Sraffaun Ioe stream. This record was not listed in the SMR (1989). It refers to a field wall noted in the early 1990’s and listed in the RMP (1995) at IG 138910 328050 (equating to ITM 538874 828057): the source of this record is unknown and there is no field report from the 1990’s on file. The area was inspected in 2014. The RMP (1995) co-ordinates place it in a field which has been reclaimed to good pasture, except for a steep slope in the W part of the field which remains covered in peat, supporting sedges, bog grasses and tufts of heather. No trace of the field wall was found. It is possible that it was removed during reclamation works.
