The National Monuments Service's description
At a cliff-edge fort (SL016-001001-). According to tradition, there is a souterrain in the enclosure (OS Name Books, 461). Part of a vertical drystone wall is visible in section in the exposed cliff face at the NW edge of the enclosure. This may be part of a souterrain.
