The National Monuments Service's description

Listed in the SMR (1989) and RMP (1995) and classified 'Potential Site - Aerial Photo' and 'House' respectively. House identified from an aerial photograph (ACP V203/39 Roll 174 Pr. 32). This consists of a rectangular structure (Max. ext. dims. L 22m SE-NW; 6m NE-SW) divided into three rooms defined by earth covered drystone footings of rubble limestone (T 1-1.3m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.2m). The central room (dims. L 8m SE-NW; 5.35m N-S) is entered via a break (Wth 1.4m) in the NE wall at the N corner of the room. Access to the NW and SE rooms is via breaks (Wth 1m) in the SW end of the NW and SE walls respectively. The W room (dims. L 6.5m SE-NW; 5.35m NE-SW) has a low pile of rubble against the inside of the NW gable wall. The SE room (dims. L 7m SE-NW; 5.35m NE-SW) has a low pile of rubble against the inside of the N corner. The interior of the house is level being slightly lower than external ground level on the NE side while being flush on the SW side. The site is dry and clear of overgrowth. The house site consists of the footings of what appears to be a house of post-1700 date.
