The National Monuments Service's description

Located in the garden of a house. A roughly square, smooth-surfaced block of sandstone (max. dim. c. 0.5m; H 0.35-0.4m) with somewhat rounded corners and a flat base. A circular hollow (diam. 0.2m; D 0.12m) is cut into the centre of the upper surface; the sides of the hollow slope inwards gently to a flat base.
The exact provenance of the stone is unknown; it was moved here from an unknown location in Ardtrasna townland or Carnagark townland, c. 10km NW of its current location.

This monument was notified to NMS by Leo Leydon.
