The National Monuments Service's description
This relates to a mound that formerly stood to the SE of the barrow excavated by M.A. Timoney in 1977 (SL014-214----). This mound (c. 1.5m high and between 8m and 10m in diam.) was considered to be a second possible example. The mound has subsequently been removed and there are no above or below ground archaeological remains (pers. comm. M.A. Timoney).
