The National Monuments Service's description
This site comprises a circular bank (Wth 11m, H 2.5m) which forms a rim (diam. c. 120m) around a great hollow, in which is centrally placed a circular earthwork with a level interior (diam. 75m). A sharply cut away opening in the SW of the internal enclosure corresponds with an opening (Wth 9m) in the outer enclosure. The outer enclosure has been extremely disturbed in areas around its perimeter by walls, cattle tracks and field entrances. The internal bank is less impressive in scale (Wth 11m, H 2.5m). There is no evidence for a fosse, the bank material has been scarped from the interior.
