The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in gently undulating pasture. Raised circular area (dims. 26m E-W; 24m N-S) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 10m; int. H 1.4m). The external fosse is visible as a very slight depression (Wth 4m; D 0.1) SW-WNW. A break in the bank at NW (Wth 4m) marks the position of the original entrance. The bank has been reconstructed and the interior levelled up in recent years.
