The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low but prominent hillock in hilly, coastal pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 25.9m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth. 4.2m - 5.5m; int. H 0.1m - 1.1m). At SSW the bank has been levelled and the defining element is a scarp (H 0.8m). At the outer foot of the bank from W-WNW-NW is a narrow, shallow flat-bottomed fosse (Wth. 2.3m) with counterscarp bank (Wth. 2.3m; ext. H 0.2m). Modern break in bank at E (Wth. c.3m) probably marks the site of the original. There is a possible souterrain within interior (SL013-035002-).
