The National Monuments Service's description
Listed in the SMR (1998) as holy well (unlocated). Not listed in the RMP (1995). The OS Letters (1836, 310) record that ‘There is (was?) a well called Tobar Molais in the Townland of Corcaghmore which has been this long time dried up…’ O’Rorke (1889, vol. 2, 405) recorded that the well, dedicated to St. Molaisse, was located in the vicinity of a church (SL012-025001-) known as Templeboy Church, which is located to E of Corkagh More in the adjoining townland of Corcoransacres. The exact location of the well is unknown.
