The National Monuments Service's description

Sub-rectangular area (41.3m N–S; 46.75m E–W) defined on the N–SE by a curving scarp (1.1m, at N and E), at S by an E–W field fence and at W by a N–S field fence. The northern two thirds of the enclosed area forms a raised level platform but at S there is a drop in ground level of c. 0.8m so that an irregular-shaped depression or hollow (Wth c. 12m N–S) intervenes between the platform and the E–W field boundary. Encompassing much of the space in the N half of the platform is a smaller oval or subrectangular enclosure (SL012-089002-), with a slightly sunken interior (23m E-W; 13m N-S; D 0.4m).
