The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in pasture, on a natural terrace overlooking a bend in a stream c. 30m to W. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 20m) enclosed by a broadly slumped bank (Wth 6.9m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.45m) of earth and stone which is rather degraded at E. A break (Wth 4-5m) in the bank at SE represents the original entrance.
