The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, situated on a NE-SW ridge, at the break of slope on the N side where ground falls away quite steeply. Slightly raised oval area (47m N-S; 38m E-W) defined at E by a remnant of an earthen bank (Wth 1.7m; H 0.3m) which has been levelled elsewhere to a scarp (H 0.8m at W). At N the scarp merges with the natural ridge slope. The interior has an uneven surface and has suffered disturbance,, including quarrying in the NE quadrant. In the S half of the rath is a souterrain (SL012-078003-). In the NW quadrant is a possible hut site (SL012-078002-). A modern field fence, on a NE-SW axis, cuts the E–SE edge of the rath. A low N–S relict field bank (Wth 2.1m) lies 2m to W of the rath. It extends c. 30m beyond the rath to S then curves to NE.
