The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, straddles the break of slope on top of a low N-S ridge. Ground falls away towards a river c. 100m to E. Raised raised circular platform (31m N-S; 29.2m E-W) enclosed by fragmentary remains of a bank (Wth c. 5m; ext. H 0.9m at W, 1.6m at E). The E half of the interior slopes down from W to E. There are several depressions and areas of disturbance in the interior. The entrance may have been on the SW side where interior ground level is lowest relative to the exterior.
