The National Monuments Service's description

The graveyard at Dunneill, which is densely overgrown with brambles and other scrub, is rectangular in plan (dims. 35m E-W; 30m N-S) and contains headstones bearing 18th, 19th and 20th century inscriptions. Much of the N half is occupied by a medieval church (SL012-036001-). In 1956 human bones (SL012-036003-) were were uncovered during quarrying in a sandpit immediately outside of the SSW wall of the graveyard.
