The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the break of the slope on the S side of an E-W ridge c.80m back from the S shore of Sligo Bay. Subcircular area (dims. 20m E-W; 16m N-S - max. H 0.8m) delimited by a series of kerbstones; these are very evident along the SW side. Within the NW quadrant is a subrectangular hollow (dims. 8m N-S; 5m E-W - D 0.5m - 0.8m), which may represent the area of a dug-out chamber or gallery. Some stones protrude from the sod at the E side of the hollow.(FitzPatrick 2001, 68).
