The National Monuments Service's description

Located within an enclosure (SL008-208----). This possible hut site is evident as a clearly defined circular feature (diam. c. 4m). It is located in the E half of the large subrectangular enclosure, which has been dated to the 13th century AD (Read, www.excavations.ie 2012:537). There is a shell midden (SL008-207----) dated to the Iron Age on the shoreline immediately to S of the enclosure.
