The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on level summit of a broad E-W orientated ridge in pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 5m; int. H 0.2m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The internal side of the bank is obscured NNE-SE by a dump of field clearance rubble that occupies the NE one-third of the interior. A break in the bank at SE (Wth 4m) marks the position of the original entrance.
