The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight S-facing slope in gently undulating pasture. Depicted on the 1836-7 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. On the 1940-1 edition it is shown as curviliear hachured feature extending in an arc from SE-S-WSW. The arc continues from WSW-W-NNW but is marked by a single line without hachures. Based on the cartographic evidence it appears that the diameter of the enclosure was c.62m. A densely overgrown gently curving length earthen bank (L c.20m; Wth c.3.4m; H c.0.5m) defining the S side of a large enclosure was is all that remains.
