The National Monuments Service's description
Located on the W side of the interior of Gortarowey cashel (SL008-043001-). A low stone bank (Wth 2.4m; H 0.2m; L 10m) extends in a SE-NW orientated arc across the interior of the cashel. The bank terminates at the NW end at a NNE-WSW orientated field wall that crosses the site. There is a slight trace of the arc continuing as if it originally extended to enclose a circular area.
