The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight SSW-facing slope on summit of a NNE-SSW orientated ridge, at SSW end, in pasture. Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Semi-circular area (max. dim. 11.5m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.4m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The bank encloses the site SSE-NNW and is absent elsewhere. A break (Wth 2m) in the bank at SW may mark the position of the original entrance.
