The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on slight SW-facing slope in gently undulating pasture. Depicted on the 1835 edition of the OS 6'' map as being circular. The rath now consists of a raised D-shaped area (dims. 19m NE-SW; 17m NW-SE) enclosed by an earthen scarp (H 1.25m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. A NE-SW orientated drystone field wall crosses the site to NW of centre and the site has been levelled on the NW side of the wall SW-N. A second drystone field wall lies along the top of the scarped edge N-E. A low grassy covered bank of modern field clearance earth and stone lies on top of the scarped edge E-ESE. A band (Wth 1.4m) of lighter coloured grass on top of the scarp ESE-SW may mark an original bank. The original entrance is not recognisable.
