The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the level summit of hillock, in hilly limestone pasture, overlooking a stream to the NE. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 14m) enclosed by a low bank of rubble limestone (Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.3m). No fosse visible. From N-NE, the bank is absent and the edge of the site is defined by a steep NE facing natural slope. A break (Wth 2m) in the bank at S marks the position of the original entrance. A N-S orientated rectangular quarry trench (L 6m; Wth 0.8m; D 0.4m) is located in the NE quadrant of the interior.
