The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight rise in gently undulating pasture. Raised oval area (dims. 24m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by a bank of earth (Wth 4.85m; int. H 0.3m) with an external fosse (Wth 4.7m; D 0.6m). A break (Wth 2.8m) in the bank with a causeway across the fosse at NE marks the position of the original entrance. A possible souterrain (SL005-038002-) is located against the inner face of the bank at W.
