The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at W end of slight E-W ridge, straddling slight SW-facing slope, in pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 13m) enclosed by a bank of earth (Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.95-2.25m). The external height of the bank is greater ESE-W due to the fact that the site is raised to compensate for the underlying natural slope. A break (Wth 1.7m) in the bank at NNE marks the position of the original entrance. A second break (Wth 2.1m) in the bank at SW is modern.
